If you are interested in becoming a lawyer then you should know that being a lawyer is not an easy task. It requires years of schooling and specialized training. A lawyer spends almost an average of 7 years from school earning a bachelor's degree. This then breaks down to 4 years of graduate school and 2 years more in undergraduate school.To be eligible for the bar exam, lawyers must pass three required exams. The first one is the bar exam.


 Bar exam requirements vary from state to state. Most bar exam requirements require lawyers to have taken some form of bar education before they can practice legally.The third requirement of the law is to take the Business Career Test. The Business Career Test is administered by the American Bar Association. The purpose of this test is to determine if a lawyer has the skills necessary for handling a wide variety of legal jobs in both small and large law firms. Once lawyers pass this test, they will earn a license to practice law.Lawyers also need to take and pass a background check. This is required of all lawyers no matter what state they are living in. 


Before a lawyer can get a license, they must undergo a background check that most often includes fingerprinting. Lawyers also need to complete their associate degrees from law schools before they can practice legally. Many times these courses are interdisciplinary and take several years to complete.To become a lawyer, a person needs to earn a bachelor's degree followed by at least two years of law school and three years of post-baccalaureate studies at an approved university. This profession is widely competitive. Candidates who want to become lawyers need to put in the time to make sure they have what it takes. 


Law is a challenging profession, but the rewards are great. For those who go to law schools with high success rates, the profession can be quite rewarding.Becoming a lawyer does have its rewards. A person can work with a variety of clients on a number of different legal issues. The primary responsibility of a lawyer is to decide cases, and provide legal advice to their clients. A person who wants to become a lawyer should check all of their requirements to make sure they meet all of the eligibility requirements to become a lawyer.
